WE’LL SCATTER THE BLOOMS OF MAYTIME

We’ll scatter the blooms of Maytime
Over each silent grave,
Letting their fragrant beauty
Honor the true and the brave.

Green are the beds of glory
Where thr heros are resting today;
Bright is their hollowed story
That never shall pass away.

We’ll scatter the blooms of Maytime
With memories forever dear,
That linger in golden beauty
Throughout every passing year;

Not as these lovely blossoms
Whose brightness is for a day,
But ever through life’s deep hours,
