Life is a Journey combines praise elements found in Contemporary Christian with uplifting rock riffs and country licks. The style of Mike’s music has evolved over many years, which has manifested into this first full-length studio album of his career.

Tina Pavelka, Mike’s wife, is responsible for writing the lyrics on the album. Her sincere and honest words reveal the deeper truths of traveling through this exciting and rewarding journey known as life. Her dedication to the Lord is evident in each verse she has lent to this album.

The couple’s collaboration features noteworthy talent from local instrumentalists and vocalists Greg Beck, Giovannie Cruz, Eric Delegard, Roger Ray, Clark Erickson and Steven Guckenheimer.  Life is a Journey was proudly produced at Reeltime Audio by Master Recording Engineer and Grammy Award-winning Producer Eric Delegard. The album’s first incarnation was designed and promoted independently by Scott Werley of Scott Werley Creative. The latest rendition features the new cover design by Scott Werley and is now marketed nation-wide by Tate Music Group, one of the largest top Christian music publishers in the nation.

Guided By The Holy Spirit is a three track acoustic release that serves as the precursor to Life is a Journey.  Offering a meditational beginning to Mike’s independent music career, this album displays Mike and Tina Pavelka’s early passion and determination for songwriting and praise-oriented vocals long before the days of scheduled live performances, custom merchandise and online radio play.

Mike initially met Eric Delegard of Reeltime Audio, who provided him with expert guidance and careful direction while recording Mike’s three tracks My Daily Prayer, Renewal of our Faith (Reflections from the ACTS Retreat), and For You Lord. 

During the early days when this release was in production, Mike and Tina had a vision for creating an independent music brand that would stand for Christ and all gifts that come from His grace.  Mike soon met Scott Werley, Creative Director of Scott Werley Creative in May 2011.  Together they began their exciting professional relationship while closely collaborating on Mike’s website, social media presence and promotional marketing strategy.

This summer of 2012, Mike will be re-releasing an updated version of Guided By The Holy Spirit for those who did not have a chance to experience it during its infancy.  The latest version will feature repolished designs and masterings by Scott Werley and Eric Delegard.  Fans may purchase this album directly from Mike Pavelka’s Music Store.
